There Are Two Plagues Which Ravage The World! The first - the illness which tears through the countryside like flames through a dry wood. A traveller is hard-pressed to find a church, barn, or home which does not house at least one face which bears boils and seeping white pus. The second - the influx of demonic possessions which has followed. Taking up root in the bodies of those who have lived sinfully and growing like tumors, sapping the strength of their host and driving them to sin further, slowly turning the skin of the possessed to a rough, red-tinted black which writhes and crawls like so many maggots.

Doctors are in high demand,  healing and tending to the sick and performing exorcisms via surgical removal of the demon cancer growths. You are of this heroic class. Go forth, now, and save or spare your fellow countrymen!

Hallows & Gallows is a one-page RPG (front and back) in which the players control Doctors in a world where possessions are comprised of a demon literally growing within a victim's body like a tumor. Exorcism is not only a religious ritual, but a surgical one. It is your duty, your very obligation, to help those in need!
